What is AEO? Answer Engine Optimisation is the practice of making your business easy for AI to understand, trust, and cite. Think of it as SEO — but for the AI layer. HiveEO gives you every tool to make that happen.

Why Traditional Content Tools Are No Longer Enough

The digital landscape has fundamentally shifted. Users now turn to AI-powered answer engines — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude — for direct, authoritative answers. Simply ranking on Google is no longer sufficient. Success depends on whether AI systems know, trust, and cite your brand.

Website owners face a critical problem: they publish consistently but have no idea if their efforts are actually influencing AI responses. They lack a systematic way to establish authority, measure impact, and find the specific gaps where AI ignores them.

HiveEO solves this with a proprietary framework called EPPM:

E — Establish   P — Publish   P — Probe   M — Monetize

🏗 Establish

Entity schema, llms.txt, AI crawler access, author profiles, products, Schema Conflict Detector, Infrastructure tab.

✍️ Publish

Create tab — AEO-optimised blog posts, social copy, FAQ schema. AutoPilot for autonomous publishing, including a real Pillar & Cluster batch mode. Unlimited BYOK.

🔭 Probe

Citation Gap (Site Scan + Quick Scan), Visibility Tracker, real GA4 Analytics, Intent & Voice of AI. Find exactly where AI ignores you — and where real people are actually landing.

💰 Monetize

Growth Nexus outreach CRM, monetization anchor callout block, eBook compiler, Podcast Feed, Action Guide — convert AI visibility into real business relationships and revenue.

Every tab in HiveEO corresponds to a stage of EPPM. The sidebar is your workflow, not just a menu. EPPM was invented by Clifford Williams and belongs to HiveEO — it is the strategic foundation that makes HiveEO different from every other content tool.

01

What is HiveEO?

HiveEO is an Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) toolkit for WordPress. It helps your business show up when people ask AI assistants about your industry — not just when they Google you.

Access it through WP Admin → HiveEO on your WordPress site, or via the shortcode on any page (admin-only by default).

Don’t have a WordPress site?
HiveEO is also available fully hosted at haiv3.com — no plugin install required — as either an ongoing SaaS Monthly subscription or a one-time 10 Day Pass. Both give full access to the same hosted app; the Pass is just a 10-day time-limited version rather than a recurring subscription.

HiveEO covers the full EPPM loop: Establish your entity → Publish AEO-optimised content → Probe whether AI engines are citing you → Monetize the visibility. Everything in the sidebar is organised around this flow.

As of Google’s May 2026 guidance, AEO is officially the next layer of SEO — not a separate discipline. Three signals drive AI citation: Entity clarity, Content authority, and Presence consistency. HiveEO addresses all three.

02b

What Google Actually Said — and Why HiveEO Was Built For It

On May 15 2026, Google’s Search Central published its clearest statement yet on AEO and GEO. The key message from Danny Sullivan, Google’s Search Liaison:

“AEO and GEO are still SEO. They are the next layer on top of it — not a replacement.”

Google’s official position, May 15 2026. This matters because it tells you exactly what to build on and what to ignore.

What Google explicitly said to ignore for AI Overviews and AI Mode

  • llms.txt files — Google does not read or use llms.txt for AI Overviews or AI Mode
  • Content chunking — breaking content into AI-readable segments has no effect on Google AI citation
  • Special AI-specific schema — there is no schema type that tells Google to include you in AI answers
  • Keyword stuffing for AI queries — AI Overviews are not keyword-matched like traditional search

What Google said actually drives AI citation

  • E-E-A-T signals — Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness. Real credentials, real author profiles, real business entity data
  • FAQ sections — Google’s guide doesn’t single out FAQ schema specifically (it never mentions FAQ), and FAQ rich results were removed from Search on May 7 2026. Well-structured FAQs still help readers and give AI systems a clear, answer-ready block to parse — just not via a dedicated Google-confirmed schema signal
  • Entity clarity — Google needs to know unambiguously who you are, what you cover, and why you are credible
  • Original reporting — content with a byline, publish date, first-person language, and unique data is more likely to earn a “Highly Cited” badge in AI Overviews
  • Consistent presence — sameAs links, structured NAP data, social profiles that confirm your entity across the web

Google’s May 27 2026 additions

🏅 Highly Cited badge

Google now surfaces a “Highly Cited” badge on AI Overview sources that demonstrate original reporting — byline, publish date, unique data or quotes. HiveEO’s Intelligence Suite (coming) includes a Highly Cited readiness signal scoring your content against these markers.

⭐ Preferred Sources

Users can now manually mark Preferred Sources that get surfaced inside their AI Overviews. A new acquisition channel outside ranking — the Action Guide covers how to encourage your audience to add you as a Preferred Source.

💬 Perspectives Carousels

AI responses now include dedicated carousels showing firsthand forum and social discussions. HiveEO’s Threads tab feeds this directly — Reddit and Hacker News engagement creates the community signals these carousels draw from.

🔍 Google AI Mode

A separate Google Search tab that is almost entirely AI-generated answers. No blue links. HiveEO’s roadmap includes Google AI Mode as a 4th probe target alongside ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.

Why HiveEO aligns with Google’s actual guidance

Most AEO tools on the market were built around 2024-era assumptions — llms.txt, content chunking, AI-specific schema. Google has now explicitly said none of those things affect AI Overviews or AI Mode.

HiveEO was built around what Google actually said matters: FAQPage schema on every post, entity data with sameAs links, E-E-A-T signals through author profiles and product descriptions, Citation Gap scanning that identifies specific gaps rather than generic keyword lists, and community presence through the Threads and Comments tools. Every core feature maps to a signal Google confirmed is real.

Competitors selling llms.txt optimisation and content chunking are now visibly behind the curve. HiveEO is the only AEO tool built around Google’s actual May 2026 documentation.

Note: the specific dates and quotes above reflect Google statements as reported at the time this section was originally written — worth a periodic re-check against Google’s own Search Central blog, since guidance in this area continues to evolve.

03

Getting started

1 · Install & activate

Install free from wordpress.org/plugins/hiveeo or upload the zip via Plugins → Add New → Upload. Activate.

2 · Get a free Gemini API key

Go to aistudio.google.com — create a free API key. No billing required. Add it in Settings — every AI feature in HiveEO, including the How Do I…? helper, needs this first.

3 · Fill in your business details

Settings → Business Profile. Brand name, description (factual, no hype), site URL, industry tags, social profiles.

4 · Add your products and services

Products tab → add each product or course with a factual description and 3–5 FAQ entries. Only add genuine products — blog posts dilute your entity schema.

5 · Run your first Citation Gap scan

Probe → Citation Gap → Quick Scan. See immediately which queries AI is ignoring you for. These are your content priorities.

6 · Fix a gap

Click “✍ Fix this gap →” on any result. Pre-fills the Create tab with the gap question and AI’s current answer as context. Generate a better, more authoritative post.

Stuck on anything? The How Do I…? helper (Overview → How Do I…?) can answer most in-app workflow questions directly, grounded in this same guide.

After uploading a new version: Always clear your Hummingbird Pro cache — Hummingbird → Caching → Page Caching → Clear Cache. Hard reload with Ctrl+Shift+R.

04

Dashboard

Optimization Score card

An amber ring showing your 0–100 AEO Score with a sparkline trend over the last 30 days. Three category bars (Setup / Entity / Presence). The Citation Gap section below shows your citation rate ring, three stats (Gaps / Cited / Queries), and your top gap with a one-click Fix button.

Top Products card

Your saved products with schema ON/OFF status and FAQ counts.

Schema Conflicts card

Live count of SEO plugins that may conflict with HiveEO schema. Links to the full Infrastructure report.

AutoPilot

Autonomous publishing engine. Reads your Citation Gap bank, generates a full post, publishes to WordPress, distributes to all connected social platforms. Configure in AutoPilot → Content Settings.

Your citation rate ring turning green is the headline metric.

05

Create tab free

Generate complete blog posts with FAQs, schema, and social copy. Unlimited, BYOK, no generation caps.

✍ New post

Enter a topic and target query. HiveEO writes a complete article with FAQs, meta title, meta description, social copy, hashtags, and image prompt.

↻ Repurpose existing

Paste content or a URL. HiveEO rewrites it into a fresh AEO-optimised post.

📱 Social copy

Every generation includes LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Telegram, and X copy. Platform-specific formatting — proper line breaks, no markdown asterisks. Create writes this copy but doesn’t send it — that happens via the Social Post Generator tool (Tools section) or automatically through AutoPilot.

💾 Save with schema

Creates a real WordPress post with Article/BlogPosting and FAQPage schema automatically.

🔁 Recent Work

Every generated post saved with full content. Open any entry to restore back into the Create tab exactly as it was.

🎯 Entity grounding

The “What is this entity?” field tells AI exactly what your brand is. Fetch description auto-pulls page meta.

🎙 NotebookLM Studio v6.x

Every published post can be exported to Google’s NotebookLM for audio/video overview generation. Found at the bottom of the Create tab. Worth knowing: NotebookLM produces a discussion about your content, not a straight narration of it — for genuine narrated audiobooks, that’s a separate HAiV3 tool (HiveAudiobook), not this.

📤 Export

Sends your post URL to NotebookLM. Generate an Audio or Video Overview there, then download it.

📥 Import

Import the downloaded file back. The row updates immediately — no page reload. Action buttons appear.

Uploads the video to your connected YouTube channel. Automatically: sets your featured image as thumbnail, embeds the video into the article after the second paragraph, sends a “🎥 New video” alert to LinkedIn and Telegram.

📱 Post to Reels

Appears on imported video files when Instagram is connected.

Connecting YouTube

Go to Platforms tab → Developer App Keys → enter your Google Client ID and Client Secret → click Connect YouTube. A Google consent screen appears — choose the correct channel on that consent screen. If you have Brand Account channels (multiple channels under one Google login), select the right one there. In Google Cloud Console: enable YouTube Data API v3, add https://yourdomain.com/wp-json/hiveeo/v1/oauth-callback as an Authorised Redirect URI. Token refresh happens automatically.

The full YouTube loop: Article published → Export to NotebookLM → Generate overview → Download → Import → Post to YouTube. The video description includes your article URL. The video embeds into the article after the second paragraph. LinkedIn and Telegram get an alert. One piece of content becomes four touchpoints across four platforms.

⚠ Pinterest needs an image

Unlike LinkedIn/X/Facebook, Pinterest’s API rejects text-only posts — a Pin requires an image to exist at all. HiveEO uses the post’s featured image automatically when one exists; if a post has no featured image, Pinterest sending is skipped with a clear reason rather than failing silently.

05b

AutoPilot Premium

Your autonomous AEO publishing engine. Runs on a schedule without you logging in or clicking anything.

How each run works

  1. Gets a topic — the highest-priority uncovered gap from your Citation Gap bank, the next unused line from your Manual Topics list, or the next piece of a Pillar/Cluster plan — depending on which Content Mode you’ve selected (see below)
  2. Generates a complete post — article, FAQ section, schema, featured image, social copy
  3. Publishes to WordPress with full Article + FAQPage schema
  4. Posts social copy immediately to all connected platforms
  5. Marks the topic as used, so the next run picks up where this one left off

⚙ Content Settings

Publishing frequency, image generation, campaign-level callout URL override.

🎨 Image styles

Seven rotating styles — photorealistic, isometric 3D, futuristic digital art, flat design, cinematic, minimalist geometric, editorial cartoon. Rotates deterministically per topic.

📱 Social Backfill

AutoPilot → Performance tab → Schedule Social Backfill. Sends AI-generated social copy for old posts — one per day at 7pm UTC. Skips drafts and posts with no featured image.

⚡ Gap bank empty?

AutoPilot pauses when the gap bank runs out. Run a fresh Quick Scan from Probe → Citation Gap to replenish it.

🎯 Tick Diagnostic new

A plain, honest readout of exactly when AutoPilot last actually ran and what it decided — fired, skipped, or waiting for its next scheduled window. “Did it work” is never a guessing game.

Content Mode: Citation Gap, Manual Topic, or Batch

AutoPilot → Content → Content Mode controls where topics come from. This is a genuinely different workflow depending on which you pick — not a cosmetic setting.

🔭 Citation Gap mode

The default. Pulls from your Citation Gap bank — topics discovered by Quick Scan / Site Scan. Pauses and asks you to run a fresh scan once the bank is exhausted.

✍️ Manual Topic mode

Pulls from a plain textarea — one topic per line, in Content Settings. AutoPilot works through the list top to bottom, marking each topic used as it’s written, so it never repeats one until the list is exhausted. Use this when you want full control over exactly what gets written, instead of letting Quick Scan decide.

🏗 Batch mode new

Give it one broad subject and AutoPilot builds a real Pillar & Cluster structure automatically — one comprehensive overview post plus several deep-dive posts it derives and interlinks on its own, assembled one piece per run over several days. The natural source material for the eBook compiler (section 14d) — a completed set is already shaped like a book’s chapters.

The “Run AutoPilot Now” Topic field is a one-off override, not the same as your Manual Topics list. Fill it in and that run writes about exactly that topic, once, ignoring your saved list entirely. Leave it blank and it pulls the next topic from your Manual Topics list (or Citation Gap bank, depending on mode) — same behavior as a scheduled run, just triggered manually.

Campaign tracking

AutoPilot → Campaign is a separate, independent layer from Content Mode — it doesn’t decide what gets written, it just counts and labels what AutoPilot produces. Give it a name, a start date, and a target post count, and the progress bar tracks how many posts have been created since that date, regardless of which Content Mode generated them.

📊 Target Posts matters

Leaving this at the default of 1 makes the progress bar hit 100% almost immediately and become meaningless. Set it to your actual goal.

📅 Start date matters

Progress counts by post date, not by which campaign was active when a post was made. Backdating a new campaign’s start date into a period where old posts already exist will incorrectly count them toward the new campaign.

🗂 Past Campaigns

Saving a new campaign name automatically archives the outgoing one — name, dates, and final post count — into a Past Campaigns table. Nothing is lost when you switch.

05c

How Do I…? helper free new

Found under Overview → How Do I…?. A grounded AI chat helper for using HiveEO itself — ask things like “How do I get AutoPilot to write about a specific topic?” or “Where do I add a product?” and get a direct answer.

Requires your Gemini API key (the same one used everywhere else in HiveEO). Answers are strictly grounded in HiveEO’s actual current feature set — it’s built to say “I’m not sure, check the User Guide” rather than invent a menu item or setting that doesn’t exist.

This is a “how do I use the tool” helper, not a content or strategy generator — for AEO strategy questions, the Action Guide and Strategy tips (section 18) are the right place to look.

06

Citation Gap free

Find exactly where AI should cite you — but doesn’t. Found under Probe → Citation Gap.

🌐 Site Scan

Crawls your sitemap, generates 3 probe questions per page, checks Gemini. Up to 100 pages, one scan per 12 hours.

⚡ Quick Scan

Generates probe queries from all your Products and Settings — no crawling needed. Runs in 30–60 seconds. Uses all products, courses prioritised first.

Gap task queue

  • ✍ Fix this gap → — marks as In progress, navigates to Create tab with question pre-filled
  • ↩ Resume in Create → — re-fires if you navigated away
  • ↺ Reset — reverts an in-progress item back to gap
  • ✓ Mark resolved — strikes through after publishing

Use “↩ Resume existing scan” not “🔄 Fresh scan” — resume preserves your gaps, fresh scan archives everything.

No competitor does this

HiveEO is the only tool that derives probe queries from your actual site content and products, tracks gaps as a persistent task queue, and archives the citation rate trend over time — automatically.

07

AI Visibility Tracker free

Probe specific queries on demand and log whether your brand is cited.

Result symbols

  • — cited
  • — not cited
  • — inconclusive (timeout or API error — re-run for a clean result)
  • — engine not configured

Gemini free

Free API key at aistudio.google.com. Required for Citation Gap — add this one first.

ChatGPT BYOK

OpenAI API key required (separate from ChatGPT subscription).

Perplexity BYOK

Perplexity API key from docs.perplexity.ai.

Claude BYOK

Anthropic API key from console.anthropic.com — probes whether Claude cites you directly, same as the other three engines.

Delete log entries any time — deletions persist and won’t reappear on page reload.

07b

Analytics (GA4) Premium new

Found under Probe. A real, direct connection to Google Analytics 4 — connect once via OAuth, the same flow used for Search Console and YouTube.

Two things on open: a live chart of real sessions by channel for the last 30 days, and a chat. Ask a plain-language question — “which posts are AI assistants actually sending people to,” “which countries is traffic coming from,” “how is a specific channel’s pages performing” — and HiveEO decides which real GA4 data would answer it, fetches exactly that, and only then answers. The chart updates to match whatever was just asked.

⚠ What this can’t do

GA4 has never had access to the actual search query someone typed before landing on your site — no analytics tool does, for any provider, for privacy reasons. For real Google query text, Search Console remains the right tool (and only for Google’s own surfaces). For ChatGPT and Claude traffic specifically, no tool anywhere can show the exact question that led someone there — those platforms don’t share that with any destination site. Analytics tells you where AI-referred people actually went, not what they typed to get there.

Confirmed AI Citations

Cross-references real AI-referred GA4 traffic against your Citation Gap bank — showing not just that AI sent you traffic, but what you were actually cited for when it did.

07c

Intent & Voice of AI Premium new

Found under Probe. Query-intent classification (informational, comparison, transactional) and per-engine sentiment tracking — so you can see not just whether you’re cited, but in what tone and for what kind of query.

08

Comments tab free

Reddit, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube are among the highest-cited domains by LLMs. The Comments tab generates style-matched comments that answer the thread question genuinely and mention your product naturally.

💬 Promote mode free

Answers the thread question first, mentions your product naturally in the last third.

🛡 Brand Defence paid

Responds to negative posts professionally, corrects inaccuracies politely. Real lesson from running this on HiveEO’s own brand: remediation content only fixes citations under the exact name it addresses — an old/retired brand name can still return the old one-sided answer until content explicitly addresses that name too.

Always review before posting. Never post verbatim without reading it first. Generation only — HiveEO doesn’t auto-post comments anywhere.

09

Threads tab free

Finds live discussions on Reddit and Hacker News related to your niche. Thread seeding feeds Google’s Perspectives Carousel.

Reddit threads are fetched directly by your browser — the same approach that has worked since the original version. Hacker News is always available as a fallback. Click ⚡ Live threads to fetch current discussions. Click Use this → to pre-fill the Create tab and generate a targeted response post.

10

Products tab free

Every product gets its own structured data block and becomes available in Citation Gap Quick Scan (all products, courses first), the comment generator, and Create tab entity picker.

❓ FAQ entries free

3–5 Q&A pairs per product. Powers FAQPage schema and gives AI systems a clear, answer-ready block to parse — note Google’s own May 2026 guide doesn’t call out FAQ schema specifically, and FAQ rich results were removed from Search in May 2026.

⚡ Auto-fill from URL paid

Paste a URL, HiveEO fetches and pre-fills the product form.

✦ AI generate paid

Gemini writes description, keywords, key features, and FAQs from your product name and URL.

⬡ Sitemap importer paid

Bulk-add pages from your sitemap XML.

⚠ Products vs blog posts

Only add genuine products, services, courses, and tools. Blog posts added here dilute your entity schema. Course lesson parts with their own URLs are correct to include. Write factual descriptions — this is what AI engines quote.

11

Schema tab free

HiveEO outputs Organisation, WebSite with SearchAction, Article/BlogPosting, and FAQPage schema. Auto-inject available or copy manually.

Schema conflict auto-detection

Detects when Yoast, Rank Math, AIOSEO, SmartCrawl, SEOPress, or The SEO Framework is already outputting FAQPage schema and silently skips injection. Infrastructure → Schema Conflicts shows the full sitewide report.

FAQ schema requires visible FAQs on the page. If FAQPage schema exists but no FAQ section is visible, Google ignores the schema.

12

Infrastructure tab free

🤖 AI Bots

Shows which AI crawlers are allowed or blocked by your live robots.txt. Colour-coded green/red.

📄 llms.txt editor

Edit and preview your /llms.txt. Note: Google has stated AI Overviews don’t use llms.txt — treat it as infrastructure for other AI systems.

📈 Entity Strength

Scores entity completeness across six dimensions: Identity, Presence, Content, Social, Technical, Trust.

⚠ Schema Conflicts

Sitewide plugin conflict scan with risk levels and fix instructions.

Action Guide

📘 Module 1 — Establish free

Define Your Entity, Set Up Your Schema, NAP Consistency, Author Authority.

📗 Module 2 — Publish paid

Content strategy for AEO — Create tab workflow, Citation Gap as a content calendar.

📙 Module 3 — Probe paid

Using Citation Gap and Visibility Tracker to measure and improve citation rate over time.

📕 Module 4 — Monetize paid

Affiliate callouts, product schema, the EPPM flywheel, Growth Nexus outreach, eBooks and the Podcast Feed.

📌 Your Monetization Anchor

A lesson in Module 4. One URL (set in Settings as “Callout / Affiliate URL”) powers two placements in every generated article: a natural inline mention in the body, and a styled green callout block near the FAQs. Override per post in Create tab, or per campaign in AutoPilot Content Settings. One field — the label changes depending on which screen you’re on. The eBook compiler can weave the same anchor into a book’s conclusion too.

14b

Growth Nexus Premium

Found under Monetize → Growth Nexus. The human layer of EPPM.

AEO is not the beginning and end of online marketing. AI engines are trained on human behaviour — what humans link to, share, and recommend. EPPM handles the machine side. Growth Nexus handles the human side: the relationships, backlinks, guest posts, and community mentions that tell AI engines your authority is real.

As AI-generated content floods the web, human signals become more valuable, not less. One targeted outreach email to a relevant website is worth a hundred generic blasts.

🔍 AI Prospector

Enter a niche and Gemini searches the live web using Google Search grounding. Returns prospects with name, URL, email, description, and relevance score. Suggested niches pre-fill from your Citation Gap bank.

🤝 Outreach & Backlinks

Your CRM. Each prospect has an Outreach Editor (AI-generated email, opens in Desktop Mail / Gmail / Outlook) and a Backlink Strategy tab (three specific collaboration angles). Pipeline: New → Contacted → Replied → Backlink Secured.

📈 Network Analytics

Total prospects, outreach sent, response rate, backlinks secured. 7-day activity chart and pipeline distribution view. Export all prospects as JSON.

❓ Help & Guide

Full workflow explanation — from first scan to securing a backlink — with the rationale for why human outreach compounds AEO authority.

AEO gets you cited by machines. Growth Nexus gets you noticed by humans. You need both.

The HAiV3 ecosystem: CreatePublishProbeAmplify with Growth Nexus → Authority that compounds. Growth Nexus is the amplifier.

14d

eBooks, Podcast Feed & Distribution Status new

📚 Create eBooks Premium

Found in Create tab’s Tools section. Select a set of your own published posts and Gemini stitches them into one long-form book — not simple concatenation. Writes a real introduction, smooths each chapter’s opening/closing so it reads as one continuous work, and closes with a genuine conclusion, optionally weaving in your Monetization Anchor. Always saved as a draft first, for review. No server-side PDF generation — the book gets print-specific styling, and the actual PDF comes from your browser’s Print → Save as PDF; an Import PDF option then brings that file back in as a permanent asset with a real URL. Once published, distributes automatically like any other post. A “Your Compiled Books” list tracks every book — chapter counts, PDF status, and a reference panel for where you’ve manually listed it elsewhere (Gumroad, BookFunnel, Scribd, Issuu, Internet Archive — none currently allow automated uploads, so this panel is a bookmark, not an automation). The natural source material is a completed Pillar/Cluster set from AutoPilot’s Batch mode (section 05b).

🎙 Podcast Feed Premium

Once a post has an imported NotebookLM audio file attached, it’s automatically eligible — a real RSS feed (valid for Spotify for Podcasters / Apple Podcasts Connect) generates per account, no per-post flagging needed. Submitting the feed URL to those platforms is still a one-time manual step (no API exists anywhere for that, for anyone). Placed under Monetize rather than Publish deliberately — podcast platforms aren’t crawled by AI engines, so this is a human-audience-reach tool, not a citation-building one.

📊 Distribution Status Premium

One consolidated view — every published post’s Social, WhatsApp, NotebookLM, and Podcast status at a glance, plus PDF and marketplace-link counts for eBooks. Every status is a real link that jumps straight to the exact row where you’d take the next action.

💬 WhatsApp Share free

A one-click, pre-filled WhatsApp share dialog for any post. Deliberately not automated — no official WhatsApp API exists for safe unattended posting.

15

Settings & API keys

🏷 Business Profile

Brand name, type, description, URL, founding year, founder, location, industry tags. Foundation for all generation prompts.

🔗 Social & authority profiles

🔑 API Keys

Gemini (free, required), OpenAI (optional), Perplexity (optional), Anthropic/Claude (optional). Stored in your WP database. Sent directly to the provider — never via haiv3.com.

🏷 Saved entities

Reusable library of brands and products you write about. Pick one on the Create tab to auto-fill entity fields.

Gemini API key — required, free. Get one at aistudio.google.com — no billing required. After saving, the field stays visible (masked, with a Show/Hide toggle) for a few seconds alongside the “Key saved on server” confirmation — it doesn’t vanish the instant you save.

Strategy tips

Your 0% citation rate is your starting point — not a failure

Every site starts at 0%. The gaps from your first Site Scan are your content calendar. Each gap is a question someone is already asking AI and AI is not citing you for yet.

Own your own territory first

Fix gaps about your own brand and products before attacking competitive queries. If AI doesn’t cite you for your own products, entity authority needs work first.

The single most important thing

Write factual, plain-English descriptions for every product. AI engines quote clear, accurate statements — not marketing copy.

The citation loop

Scan → find gaps → generate post → publish → wait 1–2 weeks → re-scan. Watch the citation rate climb. This is EPPM in practice.

Community comments compound

Reddit, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube are among the highest-cited domains by LLMs. Five genuine, helpful comments outweighs most technical on-page optimisation.

YouTube is now part of your AEO workflow

NotebookLM turns articles into audio/video. Post to YouTube closes the loop — video goes to YouTube with your article URL, embeds back into the article after the second paragraph, LinkedIn and Telegram get an alert. One piece of content, four touchpoints across four platforms.

Outreach after authority, not before

Use Growth Nexus once you have 10+ published posts and citation coverage. Outreach from a site being cited by Gemini as an authority converts far better than outreach from a site with no content.

Different engines, different strategies

ChatGPT weights Reddit and high-authority sites. Gemini weights structured data and YouTube. Perplexity weights fresh content. Copilot weights Bing-indexed pages.

Track the rate, not the raw count

0% to 31% in 6 weeks is the compelling story. The citation ring turning from red to amber to green is your evidence. Screenshot it.

A finished Pillar/Cluster set is a book waiting to happen new

Once AutoPilot’s Batch mode finishes a topic, run it straight through the eBook compiler — the interlinking is already done, so stitching it into a lead magnet takes minutes, not a fresh writing project.

💡 The rule

Most sites have zero schema, zero FAQ entries, zero community presence, and zero citation gap data. Completing the first three checklist categories puts you ahead of the vast majority of competitors in AI search. Start there.
